Use Knowledge Acquired During Ramadan For Examplary Living – Chief Imam Kogi Local government Central MOSQUE, Alhaji Limam


 

As Ramadan has come and gone, Muslims have been reminded to use the knowledge acquired during Ramadan to live exemplary life.

The Chief Imam Kogi Local government Central MOSQUE, Alhaji Limam Yakubu gave the advice at two Rakat prayer at Igwu El-del Kabir praying ground at Koto Karfe.

The Chief Imam noted that the celebration of Sallah should not be seeing as merry making alone but the period of regivination for all Muslims urged them to to avoid hatred and continue to render selfless service to mankind.

Alhaji Limam disclosed that Islamic religious preaches peace , called on them to refrain from crises but ensure sacrifice as exhibited by prophet Mohammed.

In his Sallah Message to the people, the chairman of the local government area , Alhaji Abdulkarim Isah appealed to Muslims to use the knowledge acquired during Ramadan to pray for the growth and development of the state and the country as a whole.

The local government Boss said the present administration under governor Yahaya Bello would not relent efforts in the protection of life and property of it’s citizen and wish Muslims happy celebration of Ed el Kabir particular the good people of Kogi Local government area and the state in general.

In his part of Sallah Message, the Ohimege Igwu of Koto Karfe, Alhaji Abdulrazaq Isah Koto called on the people of his domain to shun all forms of crises and work towards the development of the area.

The Ohimege Igwu said the insecurity situation was a concern for all and appealed to his subject’s to remain peaceful and offer sincere prayer for the nation and Kogi State in particular.

Highlight was the Sallah homage to the palace of Ohimege Igwu of Koto Karfe, Alhaji Abdulrazaq Isah Koto with large numbers of prominent personalities
