The Senator Elect, Kogi Central Senatorial District, Engr. Abubakar Ohere says the unity of purpose displayed by the people of the constituents largely made the 2023 General election peaceful in Central Senatorial District.
Engr. Ohere made the disclosure while reflecting on the successes of the 2023 general election in the district in which the people exhibited peace and voted for him overwhelmingly, says he remains eternally grateful, promised to do more for the people when he resumes at the upper legislative chamber of the National Assembly.
Engr. Ohere thanked the people of Central for appreciating his modest efforts in the past, a feat he maintained made many to support him at the peaceful and credible polls.
The Senator Elect appreciated the people for maintaining peace and tranquility all through the electioneering process, a purpose he explained made the election largely peaceful and credible in the Central.
He assured that going to the National Assembly was a dream come true for the people who over the years believed that he would do more through legislative engagement described his victory as victory for all.
The Senator Elect assured that he will not rest on his oars in making sure that he meets the expectations of the people that culminated into the support he got, praised all divergent views, and described it as the beauty of democracy.
Engr Ohere called on the people to join hands with him now that the elections are over towards building a Kogi Central of their dreams.
While pointing out that he will be a servant leader in representation, with no boundaries, described the people of Central people who are loving and deserving of so much, promised to justify the mandate.
