The Honourable Commissioner of Finance,Budget and Economic Planning, Mukadam Asiwaju Asiru Idris,FCA has extended his congratulatory message to the newly wedded couple, Titilayo and Opeyemi who has now been joined together in holy solemnization, which took place yesterday, 21st August, 2021.
The wife, now Mrs Titilayo Opeyemi is the daughter to Dr(Mrs) Folashade Arike Ayoade, Secretary to the state Government of Kogi state.
Asiwaju in his message, said marriage is a sacred and amazing institution ordained by God Almighty, saying its a venture that’s designed to be pleasurable, enjoyable and productive, because everything God’s create is all for Good. Although, no matter how smooth it’s created and meant to be, there are hurdles and challenges to be surmounted, Mukadam stated.
He admonished the couples to make God Almighty the foundation of their home, while he preached that no home without it own peculiar challenges, but adviced that they should imbibe the virtues of tolerance, sacrifice, trust and forgiveness wherever issues of difference arise. You are individuals from different backgrounds, therefore differences are expected,but the agape love of God, mutual trust and your determination to stay forever will always triumph.
The commissioner also congratulated both families, especially the parent of the bride, Mr& Dr Ayoade for the success of the wedding programme, saying their alluring virtues and proper parenting reflects well in their daughter which has brought the honour, glitz and glamour of today.
He prayed that God Almighty will bless their marriage with bountiful fruitfulness and make their home heaven on earth.
