The Publisher/Editor in Chief, The Nigerian Post Newspaper, Abu Michael, has been honoured as the
Most Distinguished Journalist of the year.
Abu Michael was honoured by Stewardship Global News Limited, described the Editor in Chief of The Nigerian Post Newspaper as a Journalist with distinction, who has remained outstanding in the Journalism profession.
The award according to the Stewardship News Magazine is in contribution to unbiased journalism profession, his dedication to God and humanity.
While presenting the award, the Kogi State Commissioner For Education, Science and Technology, Hon. Wemi Jones, on behalf of the Stewardship News Magazine, urged the Publisher to continue to practice the Journalism profession with high sense of integrity and sense of responsibility, described him as a shining light of the profession for the younger generation to learn from.
The 2022 Special Public Lecture and Award Ceremony with the theme: A New Nigeria is Possible, delivered by Omoluabi Olabode John Adeyemi, Special Adviser to the Governor of Kogi State on Civil Service held today at the NUJ Press Centre.
The Award presentation was attended by Pharm. Jamiu Asuku, Chief of Staff to Kogi state Government, Dr. Salisu Usman Ogbo, Rector, Kogi State Polytechnic, Hajia Rekiya Onaivo, MD/CEO KEDA amongst several other personalities.
