News reporting which is the job of journalists, and it is the act of reporting facts. It must be fact because it must be an event that took place. It is different from fiction and imaginative writing.
In doing that, the events being presented to the public must have balance and objectivity as ingredients for information fidelity. News reporting of whatever kind must be devoid of grandstanding, axe grinding and any element of persecution as seen in the works of hired character assassins that litter the space whose works are veiled in ‘journalism.’
