Tears, as scores trapped in collapsed 21 storey building in Lagos

Scores of workers are trapped as a 21 storey building, which is under construction at Musikilu Junction, by Gerard Road, Ikoyi Lagos has collapsed.
Sources said about 50 people, were trapped under the rubble, adding that some construction workers and the owner of the building were among people inside the building when it suddenly caved in and collapsed in the afternoon of Monday.

 

Emergency rescue operations were ongoing during the time of filing the story.

 

The acting Coordinator of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Ibrahim Farinloye, confirmed the collapse of the building to journalists
