Tazan Foundation: Donate educational materials to GSS


 

As part of the continuous effort to combat the declining state of poor reading culture and enhance the quality of education at the grassroots, the Tazan Saahibfatiu Onimisi Foundation, today put smiles on the faces of students of Government Science Secondary School, Ogaminana through the donation of some stationeries, ledger notes, and dictionaries.

 

 

The foundation which has been known for its humanitarian and developmental initiatives has impacted lives positively across various sectors such as health, motherless babies homes, the less privileged, and aiding quality education to local communities in the state.

Presenting the educational items to the school management, the foundation’s CEO, Ambassador Tazan Sahibfaatiu Onimisi, represented by Ajibodi Muniru Majeyibo, said the outreach is targeted at supporting the government systems at all levels to add value to education at the grassroots.

Receiving the writing materials and other vital items from the foundation, the principal, Mr. Suberu Jimoh Omananyi expressed his appreciation for the kind gesture extended to the college by the foundation, assuring them that the items donated will be judiciously used for the purpose it is served.

Also speaking, the Vice-Principal (Academics), Mrs. Grace Ochu commended the foundation for distributing the educational items to their students, adding that if this kind of initiative was extended towards the education sector by other influentials in the society, it would have gone a long way in encouraging them in their studies.

The students, who were filled with joy after receiving the educational materials, thanked the foundation, saying the gesture shown to them will further help boost their morale to read and study more.
