As Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, kogi State executive Governor administration ‘s turns one hundred days of office,the executive chairman of Science technical education and teaching service commission [STESCOM] ,hon. Paul Peter Jbrin has extended his heart felt felicitation describing the preiod under reviewed as Laudable and restorative.

Speaking from the sideline of the commemoration of the Governor’s one hundred days of office,hon. Paul Jbrin hinted that the state and her citizens have enjoyed and observe human, infrastructure and security growth and development.

According to him,for the first since the last fourteen years back primary school teachers and their local government counterpart had enjoyed the increase and improvement in the payment of the monthly salaries.agreeing that primary school teachers and local government staff received eighty five percent of their monthly salary.

On Security angle,hon revealed that one hundred and five vehicles and motorcycles were purchased and delivered to security architectures to help them to hunt down criminals and unearthed their hideout describing the gesture as not only deserving but timely considering the strategic location of the state.

On his elevation the status as the executive chairman of Science technical education and teaching service commission ‘STESCOM ‘,hon Paul Jbrin opened that the appointment is a litmus test for him to bring his boundle of human resource experience to bear in adding value to the education industry.

The state STESCOM chairman a five man task force committee has been carved out on posting and transfer of teaching and non teaching staff across the twenty one local government as part of reform to addressed some noticed challenges in the delivering of quality education at that level.

“The task force is responsible for not all transfer but limited scope because of schools that are overriding with crisis, communities -Principals, Principals-teachers,and teachers -communities clashes as well as schools affected by acute teachers require a fair percentage of teachers to fill where schools are over staffed”

Kogi State STESCOM equally announced the setting up of guardians and careers counselling and sports development units in schools cutting across the twenty one local government Ares of the state geared towards sharping student’s skills and later become great leaders in the country.
