100 Days In Office: Provost, Kogi State College of Nursing and Midwifery, Obangede Congratulates Gov. Ododo.

The Provost,
Kogi State College of Nursing and Midwifery, Obangede, Mrs Hannah Oziohu Abraham, has scored  Gov. Usman Ahmed Ododo high in his 100 days in office.

The Provost described the administration of Gov. Ododo as one that has made the people enjoy a pride of place concerning issues of welfare.

The Provost in a statement issued to Newsmen in Lokoja, congratulated Gov. Ododo for having a human face administration, said judging by all the indicators of governance, the Governor has done excellently well in his first 100 days in office to the administration of the citizens.

According to the Provost, “The Governor has truly proven that he has all the capacity to take the State to become a State of envy”.

” I make bold to State that the Governor has matched words with action since his assumption of office in his welfare packages for students and Youths”.

” His resuscitation of the bursary scheme for students will go a long way for the students in view of the current economic hardship”.

“Students and Youths subvention have been paid in arrears. He has made students and Youths inclusion a priority of his administration”.

” In the areas of Infrastructure, the State Governor has approved the construction of a 350 bed hostel in CUSTECH. We have seen several
development on campuses particularly the College of Nursing and Midwifery Obangede and across the State”.

” We must commend the administration’s commitment to security by boosting the morale of security agencies. Recently, we saw the distribution of over 500 vehicles to security agencies”.

“The administration’s open door policy remains commendable. We are proud that the unity of purpose among all the segments of our State has been consolidated”.

The Provost called on the people of the State to pray for Gov. Ododo, adding that the Governor is poised to do more for the entire state judging by his early steps in the coming days.

” Gov. Ododo has proven that he is a leader who does not make empty promises, he governs with the fear of God”, pointing out that his fear of God in governance is legendary.

The Provost commended the Governor for the NHIS for workers, deliberate efforts to reposition the Agriculture, boosting the security sector with the metropolitan response squad, commended the Governor for the distribution of enough vehicles and motorcycles to enhance security of lives and properties.

She concluded by saying, “God has given Kogi a man set for all round development”,  of the state, described as unprecedented  his efforts in cushioning the hardship faced by the people through his constant distribution of Palliatives.

The efforts of the Governor in terms of salaries, she added has improved the economy of the State, commended the resuscitation of the Ejiba rice mill through a PPP arrangement.
