Supernatural Encounters Missions Outreach Empowers 300 Persons in Lokoja


 

It was joy and jubilation as about three hundred people today got empowered in the fifth edition of the Supernatural Encounters Missions Outreach in Lokoja.

 

 

 

The people who danced and rolled on the ground in their tears of joy to show their appreciation to God and the donor, got scholarships, financial support, grinding machines and food stuffs.

 

Speaking at the ceremony, Barr. John Ajiwole, described the gesture by Pastor and Pastor Mrs Kayode Ajibade at the
Encounter with the hope of the world Program, as unprecedented.

 

Barr. Ajiwole thanked the benevolence of the givers, described the gesture as uncommon in a time when people are concerned about acquiring wealth for themselves.

 

He called on other well meaning individuals to emulate the gesture of Pastor and Pastor Mrs Ajibade, said there is more reward in giving than in receiving.

 

Speaking at the occasion, Pastor Ajibade said the empowerment which the is fifth in the series is geared towards touching lives and lifting them out of poverty.

 

He said aside empowering women to fish for themselves, said scholarships was giving to vulnerable Students in Primary, secondary schools and in the tertiary Institutions.

 

He disclosed that food stuffs was equally given to widows in the yuletide, described Christmas as a season of love and sharing, assurred that the Ministry would sustain the gesture even amidst the excruciating Financial times.

 

In her response, Damaris Agbogun, President, Lokoja Good Will Widows Association, commended Pastor and Pastor Mrs Kayode Ajibade for feeding and empowering widows in the last five years, prayed God to grant them Long life, good health and prosperity to sustain the gesture.

 

Also speaking, Eunice Agbogun, Executive Director, Challanged Parenthood Initiative, described the benevolence of Pastor and Pastor Mrs Ajibade as timely, described it as unusual coming at a time when times are hard, with widows and the vulnerable passing through difficult moments.

 

Some of the beneficiaries of the grinding machines, Agnes Audu, Helen Adeniyi, Ebun Olaniyo and Esther Patrick, described the gesture as a surprise, said it would help them in fending for their children.

 

Highlights of the occasion was prayers as led by Mrs Ole for Pastor and Pastor Mrs Kayode Ajibade, called on God to strengthen them and to replenish their pockets.
