The Etsu Bassa Nge in Bassa Local Government Area Retired Brigadier General Abu Ali Stated this while speaking with News men on the importance of understanding in his domain in Gboloko.
Retired Brigadier General Abu Ali said Unity of purpose is Sacrosanct to the development of any society noting that the two local government was in dare need of basic amenities.
The Royal Father described the two council’s as One of the oldest in the state stressing out that grate understanding among the people of the Areas will usher in rapid development.
Retired General Abu Ali Also appealed to the people of Dekina Local Government Area to relinquish the house of representatives slot to Bassa Local Government Area in 2023 for the purpose of equity , brother hood and fare play.
According to him the people of the Area last enjoy the slot opportunity of house of representatives Abuja in the last sixteen years adding that if provided the people of Bassa the chance the people of the area will continue to remain grateful for the gesture.
Brigadier General Abu Ali also called on the people of Bassa Local Government Area to remain United and speak in one voice noting that leadership process is never captured in disunity
The Royal Father appealed to the state and federal government to provide improve affordable transportation system to River Niger and Benue noting that it is capable of improving the economy of the state and the country at Large.
The General called on the state government to construct Shintaku, Gboloko, Oguma, Dekina roads stressing that the deplorable condition of the road is a thing of concern to commutters passing through the road.
Brigadier General reiterate determination to partner with relevant bodies in the country to attract development in his domain and called on the state government to esterblish a campus of Prince Abubakar Audu University Ayingba and Open University to Bassa Local Government Area.
According to him Education remains pivotal to the development of any society and described Bassa Local Government Area as blessed with both human and natural resources.
He called on the Youths to Shun vices inimical to their future and called on all religious leaders to sustain their prayers for the success of 2023 general election.
The Royal Father also called on the Youths that have reached the voting age of 18 years to go get their PVCS to enable them participate actively in the Electoral process in 2023 adding that their PVCS is their strength.
