The Senator Representing Kogi Central Senatorial District, Sen. Engr. Abubakar Ohere says his major priority is how to make Ajaokuta Steel Company works.
Sen. Ohere made the disclosure in an interview with newsmen in Abuja on his expectations from the 10th Senate and Committee position, said he is not particular juicy Committee’s as is being alledgedly clamoured for by some Lawmakers said to be lobbying.
The Senator disclosed that one of his major priority in the Red Chamber would be to see to the revitalization of the Ajaokuta Steel Company, however said as an Engineer by profession, he would not mind serving in a committee where his competence would be brought to bear.
Sen. Ohere disclosed that his primary assignment would be to make laws that would improve on the well-being of the Nigerian people with special interest in Kogi Central.
If functional, Sen. Ohere said the Ajaokuta Steel Company would provide the spring board for the nation’s industrialization, technological advancement, provide the needed jobs for the teeming youths of the State, with improvement in the socio economic development of the State.
Sen. Ohere reiterated his resolve to better the act of lawmaking by making visible impacts that would impact on the lives of the people, promised not to let his constituents down.
The Senator described the people of Kogi Central as people of high value, very passionate about quality representation, promised not to disappoint them in the 10th National Assembly.
