REVEALED: PROFILE OF THE PIONEER VICE CHANCELLOR OF CONFLUENCE UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY OSARA; CUSTECH.


Professor Sadiku Salawu finished from Okene Secondary School Upogo in 1975. Thereafter he went to Federal Government College Sokoto for his HSC.
He proceeded to Ahmadu Bello University Zaria to read Civil Engineering and graduated with 1st class in 1980. He did his NYSC at University of Ilorin.

Under commonwealth scholarship, he went to University of Waterloo Canada. He finished both his Msc and Phd in two & half years. He lectured in Canada for some years before returning to Nigeria. He was employed by Federal University of Technology Minna. He later left to join the management of Ajaokuta Steel Company.

After some years he went back to Federal University of Technology Minna. He was elevated to the Professorial chair about fifteen years ago.
He was HOD, Dean of Engineering and later Dean of Postgraduate School until he was appointed by His Excellency, Governor Yahaya Bello to be the VC of CUSTECH.
