Serving Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Political matters(APC), has debunked the report making the rounds that he engaged in Anti Party Activities at the Just concluded 25th February 2023 Federal elections and the 18th March Kogi state House of Assembly elections.
Hon. Timi said he would have ordinarily glossed over the allegations by people who he claimed are afraid of his political profile, however said for record purposes, he has however decided to clear the air.
Hon. Timi described the allegations as one coming from the pit of hell, said the fear of the unknown by some mischief makers is reason behind the allegations.
He added that the wicked allegation is coming from those who are positioning themselves for political gains, said from when he became GYB’S LG Coordinator, to when he became the Council Chairman, makes bold to State that his integrity has remained intact.
Hon. Timi said the report is aimed at embarrassing his hard earned reputation, challenged those making the allegations to come forward with evidence to prove that he was involved in anti-party activities.
While pointing out that Gov. Bello has built so much confidence in him, said he intends to justify and sustain that confidence, particularly with his experience, urged people who are scared about his political profile not to do so assuring that he will never be involved in anti-party activities.
The former Council Boss described his tenure as Administrator as one that remained a positive reference till date in uniting the people politically, wondered what would necessitate his involvement in anti-party activities, urged the APC and members of the public to discountenance the report as it is not only a false alarm with no basis, targeted to tarnish his reputation.
