Ramadan: Crescent Mission Distribute Food Items, To Widows, Vulnerable in Lokoja.


 

The Crescent Mission International has distributed food items to Widows in Lokoja to aid them in their period of Ramadan.

The food items distributed to over a hundred windows include rice, beans and salt, was held at the Newlayout area of Lokoja.

 

 

The items were made possible by the Founder of Crescent Mission, Dr. Ibrahim Ndagi Adamu, who has over years, using the Mission, assisted the vulnerable in the society.

 

Speaking at the distribution, the Chairman, Crescent Mission in Kogi State, Alhaji Idris Babaango described the gestures as one that would go a long way in assisting the vulnerable

He praised the Founder for his consistency over the years, pointing out that no one forgo his comfort for the vulnerable without an eternal reward.

He described the Mission as one that is concerned about service to humanity, the needy and the vulnerable in the society.

He used the distribution to call on other well meaning individuals in the society to join hands with the Founder of the Mission in providing succour for the vulnerable in the society.

Also speaking at the occasion, the Vice Chairman, North Central of the Mission, Hon. Isah Idris, lauded the humanitarian services offered by the Founder using the Mission.

Some of the beneficiaries who could not hold back their joy, thanked the mission for the gesture, pointing out that it would help them in the Ramadan period.

Highlights of the occasion was the distribution of the food items to over a hundred widows in and around communities in Lokoja.

The Crescent Mission has also been involved in visits to the Prison and Hospitals to support the needy in the society.
