The Tinubu Torch Bearers (TTB) National Directors of Engagement representing the 36 states of the federation, have pledged to intensify grassroots mobilisation for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027.

The directors made the commitment during a courtesy visit to the APC National Woman Leader, Dr. Mary Alile Idele, at the APC Presidential Women Campaign Council Secretariat in Abuja, following her appointment as Director-General, All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Women Campaign Council by Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu.

Dr. Alile Idele announced that female support groups would operate under the APC Presidential Women Campaign Council to ensure coordinated mobilisation across the country.

She urged the directors to leverage their networks to engage women, youths and persons with disabilities, while strengthening collaboration with APC leaders at the state and grassroots levels.

The National Woman Leader emphasised the importance of local political structures, noting that effective mobilisation requires cooperation with party leaders across wards and polling units.

Speaking on behalf of the National Directors of Engagement, Hon. Adesuwa Ehimuan congratulated Dr. Alile Idele on her appointment and expressed confidence in her leadership.

Adesuwa Ehimuan reaffirmed the directors’ commitment to unity, strategic engagement and grassroots mobilisation in support of the APC ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The visit featured goodwill messages, a group photograph and the presentation of gift items to the directors in attendance.
