Barr Mohammed Kabir Usman has condemned the recent killings and destruction of properties by Bandits in Oganenigwu community in Dekina LGA of Kogi State.
In a press statement he signed personally, Barr. Kabiru commiserated with the entire people of Oganenigwu community and particularly the immediate family members and relations of those affected by the criminal activities of the Bandits and prayed for God to grant them mercy.
Barr Kabiru expressed sadness over the incident and called on the government and security agencies to deploy security personnel to the community.
He urged stakeholders to provide immediate assistance to the victims of the attack and that everything humanly possible must be done to avoid the unprovoked repeated attacks on the community
While calling on the security agencies to display professionalism by bringing the perpetrators to book, he advised the government to proffer a permanent solution to this ugly situation by establishing a military base around the Oganenigwu and Abejukolo axis.
