The contemporary debate on democracy and good governance an development are greatly inspired by the significant political transformation that have taken place in Africa, especially in Nigeria by the elite progressive politician in the state. In countries like Nigeria where the prevailing political conditions can foster good governance and sustainable development which cut across yobe south senatorial district by a Distinguished senator Ibrahim Mohammed Bomai in one of its leadership attributes and quality of serving the people in Democratic development to his constituents.
However the bad news is that after almost two decade of democratization the political leadership of Nigeria is yet to grapple with the development and challenge. But in case of yobe south senatorial district,leadership functionality is totally engage to the people to bring about democracy that work.
POLITICAL LIFE AND EDUCATION OF SEN.IBRAHIM BOMAI.
Popularly called Bomai, by his people,( Ibrahim Mohammed Bomai was born in Maiduguri capital of Borno state on 10. Feb.1960 to the family of Mohammed Bomai and Hafsat Bomai, he then obtained his secondary school leaving certificate in 1977 from the government college Maiduguri. He therefore received a diploma result in Accountancy 1980,Higher National diploma 1982 both from the Kaduna polytechnic, Kaduna,he received a master degree in business Administration (Finance) erudite and in 1999 from the Abubakar Tarawa Balewa university Bauchi from 1997 to 1999.
He also studied at Harverd university Cambridge,Boston united state between 2004 and 2006 and at London school of management London U.K in 2005.
Distinguished senator Bomai is a fellow of the Association of national Accountant of Nigeria 1994 fellow the chartered institute of taxation of Nigeria 2000, also fellow chartered institute of treasury management Nigeria 2012 and fellow institute of corporate Administration of Nigeria 2012.
He then proceeds as member the institute of management specialist U.K,1990, Member Nigeria institute of management consultant 1999 and member financial reporting councils of Nigeria (2013). He Aldo have certificate in public financial management 2005,and certificate in public Administration 2006
SEN.BOMAI CARRER JOURNEY SO FAR….
Bomai’s Work experience began with his appointment as a lecturer college of education,Nsugbe in Anambra state during his mandatory national service (NYSC) between 1982 and 1983,thereafter he gain employment as finance officer with BOADAP,and join the service of Ramat polytechnic Maiduguri as senior Accountants. In 1986 he was promoted to principal Accountant and Acting Buser in same place respectively.
He therefore warmly switched to federal service in 1988 as Assistant chief Accountant and Acting Bursar federal college of education (Technical) Postikum yobe state. He was confirmed as the substantive Bursar of the institutions and held to some strategic post till 2002,when he moved over to the nation principal capital (Abuja) as the Assistant Director (Account)/office of the Accountant-General of the federation.
He was subsequently posted to ministry of federal capital Territory_ _(MFCT)’Abuja,between 2005 and 2008 he served as deputy director offices.
Sen.Bomai was promoted to the position of director of Treasury of the federal capital territory in Administration in 2008,a pivotal post in the FCTA which he held until he retired from the civil service in Aug 2016.
Distinguished senator Ibrahim Mohammed Bomai venture his vision to aspire for a political office in Nigeria,as he was elected on 19- Feb- 2019 as a senator representing yobe south senatorial district in national Assembly.
In conclusion of this report,sen. Bomai effect his quality and equal representation to his people in yobe south,the impact on the performance of its equitable contributions to issues of national concern and that of his senatorial district has justified his assertion of the quality leadership personality trait he have practically appropriated to his people first.

The good governance contributions emphasized on the leadership potential quality,sen. Bomai have exercise to his constituents in a change mantra and progressive Administration.
Politics needs general Administration and growth of a community on social service that will determined a successful democracy.
