By joshua PAAU SECURITY APPREHENDS ARMED NON-STUDENT DURING EXAMINATION
The Joint Security Team of Prince Abubakar Audu University (PAAU), Anyigba, has apprehended a non-student found in possession of a pistol on the university campus during the ongoing second semester examination today, 22nd June, 2026.
The suspect was intercepted by vigilant security personnel during a routine surveillance operation conducted across strategic locations within the university to ensure a peaceful and secure environment for students writing their examinations.
The individual is currently in custody while preliminary investigations are underway to ascertain his identity, mission on campus and possible links to criminal activities.
