It’s a common knowledge that the rewards for loyalty is promotion and therefore the expectations of every peace loving kogites is that Edward Onoja would naturally succeed his Boss and bosom friend, Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello after his eight years of governing Kogi State, Since they have come a long way through the thick and thin to have attained this level of leadership.
People are looking unto the Governor to elevate his most loyal friend turned brother to continue from his legacy of good Governance in Kogi State.
Sentiments aside, Chief Dr Edward Onoja the incumbent Deputy Governor of Kogi State has paid his dues in the political history of the state.
His contributions towards the New Direction Government in the last seven years is enomous that his name remains on the mouth of everyone each time Kogi State is being mentioned for good.
Edward Onoja is such a loyal subordinate who deeply helped to stabilize and solidify the foundation of GYB’s New Direction administration in the state.
He was the critical captain at the war front during the early stage of governor Yahaya Bello Government.
As a development oriented partner of GYB Chief Edward Onoja was the actual instrument used by God to provide support for the governor right from the build up to the governorship elections in 2014 and up till the day of Governor Yahaya Bello’s innuguration in January 2016.
As the true brother and friend Edward Onoja was ever ready to weather any Storm with his friend and brother Governor Yahaya Bello when the heart was fenced , his loyalty was and still remains top-notch beyond mediocrity of human eye service.
Edward Onoja is an adhent believer and practitioner of the ideals philosophy and principles of GYB leadership concept.
