Ahead of Kogi State APC governorship primary election slated to hold on the 14th of April 2023, the entire members of Okun Youth Elders Forum has unanimously endorsed Hon. Jibrin Momoh, former Kogi State Accountant General as the best candidate among others.
Endorsing Hon. Jibrin Momoh’s candidature at our just concluded Congress held yesterday been 12th of April 2023 at Olonijola event centre Kabba. The Chairman of Okun Youth Elders forum by name Amb. Samuel Femi Taiwo, who spoke on behalf of other youth group said Okun Youth chose to support Hon. Jibrin Momoh as the best candidate to succeed Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello because he is the most credible and competent among other governorship candidates in Kogi State.
His candidature is to transform Kogi State into a functional, prosperous, and secured state that will make Kogi State work for all. Amb. Samuel Femi Taiwo further said Kogi State is a cosmopolitan city of many dreams and today, it would be proper to say many dreams would be achieved under the leadership of Hon. Jibrin Momoh as the next Governor of Kogi State by the special grace of God.
There are no perfect situations except the people who make it right. This is a truism for all. However, we are convinced of many possibilities Kogi State hold. The question we continue to ask ourselves is who can make it happen for Kogi Sate.
After a close examination of all APC candidates contesting for the seat of Governor of Kogi State,The General Secretary of the group by name Engr. Olayinka Olorunfemi said they have seen Hon. Jibrin Momoh as the most qualified, matured and experienced person to handle Kogi State and to also consolidate on the existing beautiful Structures of Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello.
Hon. Jibrin Momoh will transform Kogi State to the next enviable heights and it’s many peculiarities having been on ground as a true son of Kogi State. The Chairman of this group further note that this is why we have come together as the leaders of different youth groups in Okun land to throw our weights behind the candidature of Hon. Jibrin Momoh.
We urge all APC delegates to take note that the good people of Kogi State, most especially the Youths both male and female whom formed the greatest population of voters in Kogi State look forward to have Hon. Jibrin Momoh as the candidate of APC after 14th of April primary election.
We also want to urge our powerful and respected delegates to put the interest of the electorates and party members into their conscious heart before using their delegate powers. We all know the best of all the APC aspirants in Kogi State. We have also identify the one who have the quality to serve and good character that humbles.
Together with Hon. Jibrin Momoh as the next Governor of Kogi State, we shall achieve a greater Kogi State of our dreams.
