The Chairmanship candidate for the All Progressive Congress, APC for Okehi Local Government area Alhaji Abdulkarim Ohiare, the flag bearer for the Party says the five points agenda if elected as Chairman is to impact positively on the life’s of the people of the area.
The Chairmanship candidate who made the remark at the APC SECRETARIAT lokoja shortly after a brief meeting with the party stakeholders noted that the youthful governance in Kogi state under governor Yahaya Bello has impacted positively on the life’s the people of the state.
Mallam Abdulkarim Ohiare explained that his coming as Chairman is not to Lord over anyone but quality representation which would ursher in new direction policy, adding that as the flag off campaign begins Saturday urged the people to come out enmass to support APC as they have performed creditably well at both state and federal government levels.
According to him, as administrator of the local government area shortly and occupied sensitive positions in the local government he knows the problem of the grassroots levels urged party stakeholders in the area to continue to support the APC for continue dividends of democracy to the people.
He noted that five points agenda has been put place to affect people life’s which includes, education, security, Agriculture, Health, Youths and women empowerment which is his cardinal objectives to bring development closer to the door step of his local government area.
The Chairmanship candidate also said that in the past the state witnessed gloryfied University, but under the present administration of Governor Yahaya Bello the Confluence University remain the best in the country today.
Mallam Abdulkarim called on the people in the three senatorial Districts and Nigeria as whole to support the ambition of governor Yahaya Bello to contest for presidential election comes twenty twenty and urged APC family to continue to drums support for his candidature.
