Ojogba Progressives Development Association, Lokoja branch has expressed appreciation to the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello for appointing their son, Honourable John Urah Ikani as Special Adviser to the Governor on Project Monitoring.
A statement by the Chairman, Mr Emmanuel Shaibu and Secretary, Mr Ilemona Alidu described the appointment as well deserved.
According to the statement, the Governor has once again demonstrated his love for Ojogba community as demonstrated through the appointments of John Urah Ikani and that of SSA on Grassroots Sensitization and Mobilization, Nicholas Ojodomo Simon.
The Association, while congratulating the appointees on their well deserved appointments, urged them to be good ambassadors of Ojogba community in Dekina Local Government Area.
The Ojogba Progressives Development Association also thanked the Chairman of Dekina Local Government, Prince Ishaq Okolo and other stakeholders for making the appointment possible and promised the Association’s continued support to the administration.
