Dr. Igwele stated this when commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Dr. Iti Orugbani and the publisher of Niger Delta Reporters Newspapers, Hon. Felix Idowu visited him in his office in Yenagoa.

Dr. Igwele noted that carnivals are majorly characterized by physical and mental activities which have ability to maximize participants energies and enhance their  cardiorespiratory health.

He therefore called on other stakeholders to support Niger Delta Carnival slated to hold in Bayelsa State during the Christmas Season.

Also Speaking, the commissioner for Culture and Tourism,  Dr. Iti Orugbani told his Health counterpart  that the State Government through the Ministry of Culture and Tourism had issued an Endorsement and To Whom It May Concern letters to Niger Delta Reporters Newspapers to host Niger Delta Carnival during Yuletide season in Bayelsa State.
