One of the front runners of Adavi/Okehi federal Constituency aspirant under the platform of African Democratic Congress ADC Hon. Mrs. Oiza Eucharia Godwin-Bello, popularly known as Eneiye Tin Oiza Ozigi Maiyaki Asema, has picked the House of Representatives nomination form to contest the Adavi/Okehi Federal Constituency seat for 2027 election.

She spoke to newsmen at the party headquarters immediately after picking her form on Friday May 8th 2026

Maiyaki, a grassroots mobiliser and communications professional, said her decision was driven by a commitment to deliver purposeful, people centred representation to the constituency.

She is the daughter of the late Alhaji Hon. Ozigi Maiyaki Asema, the first Executive Chairman of Adavi Local Government Area, whose legacy of public service continues to shape her political philosophy.

She said she joined the ADC when the coalition was formed and has since been active, contributing to the growth of the party at the local, state and national levels.

A devoted wife and mother, Godwin-Bello said her experience in banking, media and communications has given her a clear understanding of family values, community needs, and the importance of inclusive policies for women, children and households.

She holds a B.Sc. Hons in Chemistry from the University of Jos and a Diploma in Computer Science from Data Plus Computer Institute, affiliated with the Federal University of Technology, Akure. She attended Federal Government Girls College, Kabba, and Christ the King Nursery and Primary School, Okene.

Oiza began her career at Stanbic IBTC Bank Plc as a Client Service Officer between 2012 and 2016, where she was recognised with the “Operation Excellence” Award in 2016 and named Most Customer Centric Staff of the Year in 2012 for her work in customer service, financial operations and digital banking adoption.

She later transitioned into media and communications, working with Greetings Media Limited and Kakatar Construction and Engineering on World Bank projects. She currently serves as a New Media Executive with Zeetin Engineering.

Her expertise includes strategic communication, digital branding, content development, campaign strategy and online advocacy. She said she has managed high impact campaigns that strengthened organisational visibility and supported development-focused initiatives across Nigeria.

Maiyaki said her priorities for Adavi/Okehi include empowering youth and women through skills acquisition and entrepreneurship, improving access to education and healthcare, promoting economic opportunities and financial inclusion, and advocating for infrastructure and social welfare.

She pledged to ensure transparent, accountable and people centred representation if elected.
