Ofu Local Government have elected Jummai Peter as Leader of the Council.

Members of the Legislative arm of Ofu Local Government have elected Jummai Peter as Leader of the Council.

Also elected are, Shauibu Isa, Deputy Leader, Abdulsalam Ademu Majority Leader, while Seidu Isa was elected Chief Whip.

Meanwhile, the Chairman of Ofu Local Government,Mallam Ahmodu Ibrahim has approved the appointment of Idajili Martins as his Chief of Staff.

A statement by the Council said the Chairman has also appointed Alih Siaka as Senior Special Assistant on Political, while Chigboja Gideon is the Press Secretary to the Chairman.
