Says Governor Bello has justified mandate of egalitarianism in Kogi State.
The Special Adviser to Governor Yahaya Bello on Civil Service and Labour Matters, Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi has said the people of the seven LGA of Kogi State are further assured of producing a Governor in nearest future when the Candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Alh Ododo Ahmed Usman wins in November, 2023. He made the statement on the sideline of the just concluded Okun for Ododo 2023 political parley organized to welcome the new decampees across the Kogi West Senatorial District in Kabba over the weekend.
Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi while speaking to newsmen says the political tempo in Kogi state has shown that the idea of one ethnic tribe ruling Kogi State perpetually have become a thing of the past with election of Governor Yahaya Bello on two different occasions, saying that the repeat of same for Alh Ododo Ahmed Usman on the 11th of November this year is an undeniable assurance that Kogi West Senatorial District will produce a Governor of the state sooner than expected. He argued that the people of the state have evolved significantly in politics to make fairness, equity and justice their watchword. He commended Governor Yahaya Bello for leading the state into a united, homogeneous and Politically understanding level that have built ethnic confidence among the various ethnic groups such that they now begin to agree on rotating leadership.
Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi says the exodus of high ranking leaders of the main opposition party, People’s Democratic Party into the All Progressives Congress shows that the party has taken total control of the state and well positioned to win the coming election with landslide victory. He said the political atmosphere in the state is indicative of a people ready and prepared to continue with the ruling party. The Special Adviser said the sterling performance of Governor Yahaya Bello in the last eight years and the even distribution projects along ethnic, LGA and various divide of the state is the magic wand that have made the party popular in the state. He said establishment of Kogi State University, Kabba is an eloquent testimony of Governor Bello’s knack for balancing development and projects across each sides of the state. He commended the Governor for being courageous, responsive and responsible enough to notice anomalies and correct same for deeper sense of belonging for all sides of the state.
Omoluabi further commended the erstwhile PDP leaders who just decamped for their political decision taken in the interest of the unity of the state. He commended Hon Alfred Bello decampees for their courage and Political forthrightness especially at an electioneering period like this. He assured them that they shall not be left alone but would be supported to achieve their political interest and ambition. He urged them to remain steadfast, committed, loyal and hardworking.
Omoluabi also used the avenue to reach out to all politicians from different political parties to come and join the moving train as the party’s doors are widely open to receive them.
