The New Nigeria People’s Party ( NNPP), Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Senatorial candidate in the 2023 National assembly elections, Hon.Mubarak Ahmed Tijani has been honoured with the AFRILEAP AWARD 2022. the Nigerian post has learnt.
Hon. Mubarak was honoured along side other eminent Nigerians in an award ceremony, tagged “AFRILEAP AWARD 2022″that is, African Leadership & Philanthropy with a theme,”leadership and philanthropy:A template for Sustainable social development in Africa, Thursday,8 December,2022 at the Nnamdi Azikiwe hall,Nicon Luxury,Garki,Abuja.
The Senatorial candidate who was Conferred with the most outstanding Grassroots leadership award, said he was overwhelmingly delighted for the honour accorded him by the humanitarian and philanthropic organization, adding that the award accorded him was a sign that the youths are taking over the leadership of the country come 2023, and that the recognition Will spur him to Continue the Good works he was doing.
In his words,” we have been saying it over and over again in our party manifesto, the youth and the Girl Child will be Concentrated upon to see that they are empowered,as a parliamentarian, I will ensure bills and motions that are youth friendly are passed in to laws.”
Hon. Mubarak further stressed that,if elected to the red Chambers of the National assembly,he would give priority attention to Girl Child and the youths in the federal Capital Territory (fct),so that they would be engaged in something meaningful and beneficial to themselves.
He said he was dedicating the award to the entire youths in the federal Capital Territory.
