The President of Riverine Peace Initiative in Niger Delta (RPIND) Comrade Toluwa Mulade has Congratulated the newly appointed Board Chairman of Niger Delta Development Commission , Lauretta Onochie.
In a Congratulatory message which was signed by President Toluwa Mulade and made available to news men in Benin City described the appointment as a well-deserved promotion for Onuchie ,s immense contribution to the development and sustenance of Peace in Nigeria.
According to Comrade Toluwa Mulade, the appointment did not come as a surprise because it is long over due as Lauretta Onochie has been involved in ensuring the Buhari led administration delivers the dividend of democracy to the people of Niger Delta.
He however charged her to ensure the commission is brought back for the purpose it was originally established.
“I believe in your capacity to resuscitate back the Niger Delta Development Commission to bring development in the Niger Delta states, Women have always display great level of competence when given the opportunity , so we in the Peace Imitative in Niger Delta that have fought hard for the sustenance of peace and development in Niger Delta .”
He added that with her in the board, Niger Delta State will experience what they could not access in the other years.
In a similar development, Comrade Toluwa Mulade further admonish Nigerians to celebrate the season with peace and get ready for the moment of decision as 2023 General election draws close.
