“Natasha Is a Light of Ebiraland”, Odeyani of Ebira People In FCT Declares

The Odeyani of Ebira people in the Federal Capital Territory, HRH Mallam Abdulkareem Ibrahim, has declared the support of Ebira indigenes in Abuja for the Kogi Central PDP senatorial candidate, Barr. Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan.

 

The leader of Ebira people in FCT made the declaration on Sunday when the PDP senatorial candidate paid him a consultation visit with her supporters in Gwagwalada area of Abuja to seek for his support and the support of Ebira indigenes in Abuja.

HRH Mallam Abdulkareem Ibrahim recalled how Chief Natasha held the National Assembly to a standstill on 1st March, 2018 during the sectoral debate where she dared the cabals to reveal the factors limiting the revival of Ajaokuta, and her subsequent travel in 2019 to Sochi, Russia to attend Russia-Africa summit because of the love she has for the people of Ebiraland.

He assured her of his support and the support of Ebira indigenes living in Abuja because her vision is dear to the people of Ebiraland.

“By the grace of God, we are ready to support you, you are a light to Ebiraland, your aim is genuine, and we will give you the necessary support.

“We are registered voters at home, we have families at home, we will ensure they support and vote for you,” he said.

Appreciating the love and support shown to her, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan reiterated her resolve to change the narrative and speak for her people at the National Assembly.

She explained that the content of her manifesto is not a holistic plan for her people when she gets into the Senate chamber but being careful enough not to reveal all her plans in order to prevent saboteurs.

“I am not saying others are not qualified in their various capacity, but there is need to send forth our best to the National Assembly. Whatever you have seen Natasha representing in the past, I will be hundred percent more than that when I get to Senate.

“We are going to run our constituency projects differently, we will not do blanket approach, we will ask each Local Government what they want and ensure it is captured.

“I will fight for our youths and ensure I seek job opportunities for them, I understand that jobs are now sold to our graduates who don’t even have money, I will fight to secure jobs for you without them being bought.

“I will ensure the right of the host communities are protected. I will be your network, I know there have been a glass ceiling for our artisans, I will stand firmly on the platform Senator A.T Ahmed and other PDP leaders created and I will do more to create opportunities for our people,” she said.

Barr. Akpoti-Uduaghan stressed the importance of the permanent voters card as the only weapon to vote out incompetence.

“Please, collect your PVC and tell our people at home to get their PVC, everyone matters,” she noted.

Natasha, while addressing the Ebira community, noted that it is never an easy road to redemption but she is sure that the PDP will ensure to recover Nigeria.

“Lend your vote for Natasha Akpoti and every other candidates on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP. It hasn’t been an easy journey, I am counting on you, please play your part. In your own faces, I found courage, please don’t disappoint me and and importantly, don’t disappoint yourself and the future of our beloved constituency.

“We have been cheated for long, your representative is a mirror of you, this is a rear opportunity to get it right, travel home and please vote Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan for Senate and every other candidates of the PDP,” she concluded.

Barr. Natasha also visited Odeyani of Bwari area council in Kubwa where she met different Ebira groups to seek for their support.
