NAS Donates Learning Materials To Primary School In Edo

The National Association of Seadogs, (NAS), also known as Pyrates Confraternity on Friday donated learning materials worth thousands of naira to Darul Tahfeezul primary school, Egbogie, South Ibie in Etsako West Local Government Area of Edo.

Mr Dirisu Odion, the Capoon Hybrid Deck, (Edo North) who presented the materials to the school said that the donation was aimed at developing education at the grassroot.

Odion said that the donation is part of the association intervention from Deckhands project and carried out by Hybrid Deck in collaboration with San Tytanik Deck.

“We decided to donate these note books, textbooks and writing materials to these students to support and encourage them in our little way to take their academics serious.

“As an organisation, we are committed to playing key roles in improving the wellbeing of the younger generation in our communities in Edo North.

“We can’t continue to wait on government to do everything for us, we must sacrifice in our little way to support in moving the society forward,” Odion said.

He called on groups and individuals to join in developing education at the grassroots.

The Proprietor of the school, Alhaji Isah Momoh applauded the Seadog for the gesture.

Momoh thanked the association for supporting the educational advancement with qualitative materials.

He prayed God to give the organisation more grace to continue to do good.

“I want to thank the organisation for the donation and I promised that the books will be used judiciously for the purpose intended.

The National Association of Seadogs is an independent, humanitarian organisation offering support to indigent across the world.

The organisation is a volunteer group engaged in providing care in disadvantage communities.
