Gas Cookers are one of the common ways most people use in the preparation of their foods. This is mostly because it is easier and faster than many other sources of food preparation.
This is just but a few benefits that comes with using gas cooker but just like many other things, gas cooker also has some it’s disadvantages but this could be well managed with proper knowledge of the mistakes that lead to it.
In this article, I am going to be talking about 4 mistakes that could lead to gas explosion you should know
1. Using a faulty burner
As a gas cooker user, one mistake that is very common you should stop is using a faulty burner. This has been been proven to be one of the major causes of gas cooker explosion in most places where it occurred.
On most occasions, there are usually gas leaks from this faulty burner which is quite dangerous.
2. Filling your gas cylinder to the brim
This is another mistake you should stop making. Filling a gas cylinder to the brim could lead to leakage of gas from the cylinder which puts you at risk of gas explosion.
Instead if your gas cylinder is a 10kg cylinder, just buy gas of 9.5kg in order to prevent filling it to the brim.
3. Allowing your kids to use the gas cooker
It is also a mistake to allow your kids to use the gas cooker especially young ones. This is because kids may not know the possible action to take in case any crises occur while using the gas cooker.
It is best that you use gas cookers yourself or only allow your kids use them when they are of age.
4. Using a rusty cylinder
Rusty cylinder usually causes gas leakage. This is because most of these gas cylinders when they get rusty tend to have little holes which might release some form of gas which could lead to gas explosion.
