Thompson Makolo Junior a creative artist has launched his Makolo Talents Foundation on Friday in Lokoja to provide platform for the youth in creative industry to maximize their potentials.
Thompson Makolo Junior noted that the creative conversation and the launch of the foundation were to give Nigerian youths an opportunity to recreate his or her passion and attitude for the enhancement of their chosen vocations.
The entertainment meastro said without the right attitude no matter the creative minds one possess, it would not move one forward.
He added that the country is blessed with abudant human resources who could hold their heads high anywhere in the world but decried the inappropriate attitudes of most youths which has become an albatross on their journey to stardom and success.
He called on the youths to begin to cultivate the right attitude and to present themselves to mentoring in order to win the confidence of the society.
He also appealed to Government, individuals and corporate organisations to invest heavily in the creative industry which has the potentials of generating huge employment with ability to reduce predatory activities among the Youths.
He commended the Nigerian Youths for their reselience and determination to excell Inspite of the daunting economic and social challenges facing them, even as he admonish them to shun poor peer group influences .
According to him, it takes potentials and luck to take one to the top but it is only the right character that can sustain one on the top.
The creative conversation with TMJ 2020 was held at the Saatof Hotels Lokoja, with important personalities in attendance , including but not limited to Professor Armstrong Idachaba DG, NBC, professor Babatunde Irukera of FCCPC , commissioner for culture and tourism Mr.Idachaba, others are Dr. Omede former commissioner, paramount ruler of Ofu, HRH Dr.Akwu Obaje the Ejeh of Ugwolawo, hosts of Artist .
