Maigari of Lokoja urges citizens to respect constituted authorities, Lauds Gov. Ododo’s leadership style.

 

 

The Maigari of Lokoja, Alhaji Ibrahim Gambo Kabir Maikarfi IV, has
appealed to the people of Lokoja on the need to respect constituted authorities,
commended Gov. Usman Ahmed Ododo for his leadership style since his assumption of office.

The Maigari of Lokoja gave the charge at the annual Sallah homage and dubar celebration held at the Muhammadu Buhari Civic Centre Lokoja.

The Royal father called on the people to be security conscious, said the need for the people to join hands in ensuring security, peace and unity in the state and the country at large.

The Maigari described peace and security as the bedrock for sustainable development, insisting that efforts to ensure that Lokoja remains home to all has tops his priority.

He called on the people to live in peace with their neighbors, described Lokoja as a miniature Nigeria, reason why citizens must cohabit peacefully with other residents.

The monarch, who is also the Chairman of Lokoja LGA Traditional Council commended Gov. Ododo for his remarkable achievements within his short time in office, adding that, the people of Kogi State are satisfied with his exemplary leadership style.

“Am calling on the people of Kogi State to support the government of Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to succeed. They both need our support to achieve Kogi State and Nigeria of our dreams. It is our duties to pray for our leaders for Almighty Allah to give them divine direction to lead us to the path of development” he stated.

According to him, the nation needs collective efforts from all stakeholders to tackle the present challenges bedevilling the Country today.

The Maigari prayed God to grant the present administration at both the federal and state level, there wisdom and understanding to pilot the affairs of the State.
