As we are in era of politics of development, hence there’s need to market a good product of politician.
Recently, I wrote in support of Hon. Ibrahim Momoh Osite to become Caretaker Chairman of Lokoja Local Government Area. Yes, he has all it’s takes to occupy such position.
Hon. Osite’s family house is at Angwantiv junction in newlayout Lokoja since 1960 where both he and his parents were born and brought up.
He obtained higher qualification, HND in Computer Science from prestigious Kogi State polytechnic.
As an Aluta student, he held the position of class group leader also NAKOSS Auditor General in the institution.
He has worked in many big establishments as part of his work experiences across Kogi State namely;
1. Bright World company, as Merchandiser at Odolu, in Kabba LG (2007-2008)
2. Scintillate Int’l Model School, as Secretary/Computer Operator at Otokiti village, Barracks Road in Lokoja (2011-2012)
3. Dangote Obajana Cement Company, as Computer Machine Operator at Obajana, Lokoja (2013)
4. Kogi State Polytechnic, as Senior Computer Tech. Officer in Lokoja 2014 till date.
Hon Ibrahim Osite is a two term House of Assembly Aspirant for Lokoja 1 state constituency in both 2019 and 2023 general elections but couldn’t make it as God time is the best. He has been supporting the government of Alh Yahaya Adoza Bello administration both in materials and media wise also initiated a political group called Kogi political Elite in Lokoja, Kogi State.
As a youth coordinator and mobiliser, he recently, work tirelessly for the emergence of His Excellency Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo and OYIBO to become victorious in just last concluded November 11 Kogi gubernatorial election now governor and deputy governor elect.
Before now, we understand that there is already existing setting standard regarding the zoning formula about the position of Local Government Chairman in Lokoja LG area, then an agitation for Osite to be the next Administrator of Lokoja LG council area can not subdue the setting process of the good people in the Lokoja Local Government have been long enjoying. I’m already aware about the arrangement that Lokoja I & II normally occupy the position of chairmanship base on the existing gentle man agreement on ground. Clamouring for caretaker chairman will not in any way guarantee him to be elected Chairman. I know Hon. Ibrahim Osite is a law-abiding citizen, man of integrity, and a core loyal party member of APC. My agitating for him is to honour him due to the work he has done for the party (APC) and he deserves to be compensated. Once again, I therefore urge the party Leaders in Lokoja Local Government area to support and give him the mandate to serve people of the said Local Government (Lokoja). Thank you all!
