A socio-political youth group, under the auspices of Oriade Youth Emancipation, have endorsed a frontline Aspirant for Lagos West Senatorial District Candidature, Senator Musiliu Obanikoro ahead of the forthcoming All Progressive Congress Lagos West Senate Primary Election slated to hold May 28th, 2022.
This is coming, days after the National Working Committee (NEC) of the party ably led by the national chairman, Senator Abdullahi Adamu announces the amended time table for the party primaries for various positions.
The Secretary of the forum Amb. Omosona T. Olakunle appreciates the senate aspirants screening committee for their thoughtfulness in considering fairness during the screening exercise, this is an assurance and affirmation that the Senator Abdullahi Adamu and his national executive team truly understand the yearnings of the party members across the nation in clamoring for strong candidates across board, that will lead the party to victory across the federation. Our deep gratitude and a show of appreciation to the national executive committee for this great feat, we pray that success await them as they plan forward in ensuring a successful party primaries.
However, after wide consultations with necessary political leaders, stakeholders, party members, the entire youths of Oriade and beyond, we have resolved within ourselves and many other youths alliances that our support this time around would not only be for supporting sake or on the altar of i know you alone, but to give our sincere support to someone who is capable, trustworthy to lead the Lagos-West APC to victory at the general polls, our resolution goes the way of Distinguished Senator Musiliu Olatunde Obanikoro, he is capable, reliable, very honest politician who is politically rooted and he has so much contributed to the growth and victory of our great party (APC).
We have no doubt in his capacity to lead APC Lagos West to victory come 2023, considering the fact that, he Senator Obanikoro is not new to politics because he is a leader who has held so many leadership positions in the past and as such he is familiar with the doings and don’t of politics and politicking across the four pillars of Lagos West and our nation at large.
Our endorsement for Musiliu Obanikoro is not only Bourne out of love from the entire Lagos west youths, but for his his experience as a former Senator has further proved to us that ‘ a round peg in a round hole’ he is.
Amb. Musiliu Obanikoro always has played prominent roles in ensuring victory for our great party, the All Progressive Congress (APC), It might interest you that Lagos West has the majority votes coming from Lagos State at every election cycle that superses votes from other parts of the states. Obanikoro is a recurring decal at every victory process attributed to Lagos APC and by extension Southwest.
Our achieved victory stories can’t be written without mentioning Senator Musiliu Obanikoro, he is such a good listener, full of actions.
Let me says that we are committed to his aspiration and we promised to mobilised our God given delegates across Lagos West Senatorial District in ensuring that Distinguished Senator Musiliu Obanikoro emerges as the APC Senate flag bearer for Lagos West Senatorial District.
Omosona T. Olakunle cited the landmark achievements of Musiliu Obanikoro in so many areas when he had held various positions, such as education entitlements for the students, provision of scholarship for students, constructions of roads, youths and women empowerments, job creation and facilitations, outreach to the less privileges, organizing of sport activities in order to promote the peaceful co-existence within the district etc, were reasons for his endorsement as APC Lagos West Senate candidate to beat.
