Incumbent Hon Ranyi Daniya yesterday won the All Progressives Congress APC House of Assembly primary election ticket.
Hon Daniya polled seventy votes to beat his rival who scored four votes.
The primary election was held at Bassa Local Government Secretariat Oguma. It was supervised by the Electoral Officer of Bassa Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Mr Emmanuel Izhingwa. The Directors of DSS, Civil Defence and the Divisional Police Officer of the Local Government provided security for the primary election.
In a post primary election speech, Hon Daniya called on Hon Alumka to join hands with him to build a strong APC party in Bassa and win the next Assembly election in the Local Government Area.
