Kwara Police Assure Residents of Safety Amid Reports of Strange Faces in Danialu, Agbabiaka Areas

 

The Kwara State Police Command has assured residents of Danialu and Agbabiaka areas in Ilorin of their safety following reports of unfamiliar individuals spotted around Danialu Primary School and its environs.

In a statement issued by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Adetoun Ejire-Adeyemi, on behalf of the Commissioner of Police, CP Adekimi Ojo, the Command acknowledged the concerns raised by residents and commended their vigilance and swift response in reporting suspicious activities.

“The Command appreciates the vigilance of community members and their promptness in sharing such vital information,” the statement read.

CP Ojo assured that the Police have taken proactive measures to ensure public safety. According to the statement, operatives have been deployed to the affected areas for discreet surveillance, intelligence gathering, and regular patrols to prevent any criminal activity or threat to peace.

While urging residents to remain calm and continue with their lawful activities, the Police Commissioner encouraged the public to provide credible information that could aid security efforts through the Command’s emergency lines or at the nearest police station.

“The Kwara State Police Command remains unwavering in its commitment to the protection of lives and property across the state,” CP Ojo reaffirmed.
