
Kogi Students Celebrate Former Rector, Aluko, on Birthday; Describes Him as an Exceptional Academician

The leadership of the National Association of Kogi State Students (NAKOSS) has extended warm birthday felicitations to Arch. Olusegun Aluko, PhD, the erstwhile Rector of Federal Polytechnic Ilaro.
Speaking with journalists today at the National Secretariat of the Association, the National President of NAKOSS, Cde. Sunday Adeola Simon, described Dr. Aluko as a father figure, seasoned administrator, and exceptional academician whose contributions to the advancement of education remain commendable.
According to him, Dr. Aluko’s tenure as Rector was marked by visionary leadership, institutional growth, academic excellence, and unwavering commitment to the development of students and young people across the country.
The Association noted that his passion for education, mentorship, and nation-building has continued to inspire many students and youths to pursue excellence and contribute meaningfully to society.
“Dr. Aluko is a symbol of purposeful leadership and academic distinction. His legacy in the education sector continues to speak volumes, and we are proud to celebrate a man whose life has positively impacted countless individuals,” the statement added.
The Association prayed for God’s continued guidance, sound health, wisdom, and greater accomplishments for the celebrant as he marks another year of impactful service to humanity.
