KOGI STATE GOVERNMENT TRAINS 180 INSURANCE DESK OFFICERS, HEALTH CARE WORKERS ON ELECTRONIC MEDICAL RECORDS
Kogi State government under the leadership of the Chief Servant of the state, His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo has in the spirit of the consolidation and continuity of the Advanced New Direction Administration trained one hundred and eighty desk officers and health care workers on electronic medical record and digital encounter.
The training which was mid-wifed by the Kogi State Health Insurance Agency took place at Dafeyo hotel Lokoja last week.
The Executive Secretary of the Agency, Dr. Adekunle Aledare said the objective of the training is to equip the participants with the Agency’s digital application developed and deployed by the Agency to ensure end to end encryption of its processes.
Dr. Aledare maintained that the deployed application will ensure seamless submission of electronic data on encounter, claims and service utilization. He noted that the digitization will also fast track early claim vetting and payment of fee for service.
In his remark at the training, the Chairman of the Board of the Agency, Pharm. Suberu Arikochonu applauded Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for the continued strong political and financial support for the Agency which has undoubtedly fastrack the speedy achievements of the Agency
The Permanent member II of the Agency, Jacob Abrahams urged the participants to make good use of the training in updating their digital skills for improved efficiency on their electronic data system.
