Kogi State ACReSAL Project Coordinator, nominated for National Service Award.

 

The Bureau of Public Service Reforms (BPSR), Presidency, has selected Barr. Ladi Ahmed Jatto – OON as a recipient of the “Distinguished Public Service Award in Institutional Performance and Service Delivery.”

The award will be presented at the Nigeria Public Service Lecture Series and Awards on June 23, 2026, at the NICON Luxury Hotel, Abuja, as part of activities marking the United Nations Public Service Day.

“Brief Citation: Barr. Ladi Ahmed Jatto . OON. MIAD,MBA,BL, LLB, FCISM

Barr. Ladi Ahmed Jatto – OON is the Project Coordinator of the Kogi State ACReSAL (Agro-Climatic Resilience in Semi-Arid Landscapes) Project. Before her current role, Her career reflects leadership at every level from pioneer staff of Legacy Pensions Fund Administrators during Nigeria’s pension reform; she also served as Special Adviser on Environment and Physical Development to Kogi State Government, Special Adviser on Multilateral and Donor Agencies and State Coordinator of NEWMAP (Nigeria Erosion and Watershed Management Project).

A lawyer and distinguished Public Servant, she has been recognized for her exceptional contributions to institutional performance, service delivery and public sector reforms in Kogi State and Nigeria. Her leadership across multiple high-impact projects has driven innovative governance and developmental outcomes, earning her national acclaim.

She is an Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON), a testament to her distinguished leadership and service to the nation.”

Merit-Based Recognition

In a letter signed by the Director General of BPSR, D.I. Arabi, the Bureau stated that Barr. Jatto’s selection followed a rigorous, merit-based assessment process involving stakeholder nominations and independent review of performance indicators. She emerged from a highly competitive pool of Heads of MDAs within her geo-political zone.

Reacting to the recognition, Barr. Ladi Ahmed Jatto – OON said:
“This recognition is not just a personal recognition, but a validation of the collective efforts of our team at Kogi State ACReSAL towards international performance and service Delivery; it will further inspire us to deepen reforms that positively impact citizens.”
