… Several commercial vehicles, trailer still in flames.
Many are feared dead as a multiple accident has occurred in Kotonkarfe LGA of Kogi State.
As at time of report, two commercial buses and other commercial vehicles are in flames.
An eye witness and others who are still trapped in the road block occasion by the accident involving the trailer and the commercial vehicles said the accident happened directly in front of the Local Government Secretariat of the Local Government at about 7:00am close to the FRSC Secretariat.
According to the report, a trailer coming from Abuja lost control while overtake, ram into a trailer laden with content, burst into flame and affected the commercial vehicles and buses.
All efforts to reach the Federal Road safety corp has proven abortive as they could not be reached.
The number of casualties is yet to be ascertained as the vehicles involved are still in flames with soldiers said to have blocked the road for further traffic.
For now it is a case of stranded motorists and travellers who are helpless as no fire fighting equipment to tackle the inferno, clear the debris.
