Kogi State Chairman of the Public Service Joint Negotiating Council, Comrade Olusegun Alemeru has described Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo as God sent.
In a statement on Monday, Comrade Alemeru noted that the Governor has proved beyond reasonable doubt that his love for workers in second to none.
He particularly praised the Governor for the payment of December salaries to workers on the fourteenth of the month, saying it is unprecedented in the history of Kogi State.
The Joint Negotiating Council Chairman commended the Governor and his team for not paying leap service to workers welfare, but continued demonstration of serious attention and improvement.
“Let me say at this point that Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo has always surprised us, this is his person. He will always act positively to meet the yearning and aspirations of the masses and that is what he has done again this December”, he stated.
Comrade Alemeru also expressed appreciation to the Special Adviser on Labour matters, Comrade Chief Onuh Edoka for his role at ensuring responsive governance, stressing that such is a further justification for his appointment.
The Joint Negotiating Council Chairman assured of the continued support of the workers to the friendly administration and wished the Governor a successful yelutide.
