No doubt, others in their own wisdom may also be said to be qualified for the governorship race, but to be candid and devoid of any sentiment, Architect, (Chief) Yomi Awoniyi, stands out taller and more eminently qualified than all his peers for now, due to several advantages he wields, coupled with other salient factors that would upbeat his supports and acceptability ratings when the contest hots up.
Where shall we start from ?.
Is it from his natural noble birth; humble quintessential background; sound and non-controversial academic/educational certificates from the cradle; disciplined and unblemished upbringing; consummate administrative stints; deft intellectual comportment on contemporary issues; and/or most importantly, the requisite on-the-job experience?. We can limitlessly go on and on.
Who then can better pick this bill than the ebullient, softspoken, workaholic and clear-headed team player; YOMI AWONIYI?.
Behold that this aspirant is super-qualified and well positioned for the job, if the people of Kogi West really desire to keep a date with destiny, as it concerns the burning issue of ZONING/ROTATION of the State Governor’s seat. Kogi West must be very keen in introducing its best legs to the rest of the state to win their general sympathy for the zoning argument.
It’s obvious that the particulars of the character of our prospective ‘rallying point’ would surely weigh in to tilt the debate in favour of d Kogi West in d 2023.
Still on character, moral component and credibility of our candidate for the governorship: It will be both unpardonable and reprehensible on the part of both the Leaders and the critical stakeholders of Kogi West PDP to stay aloof on the issue of nomination of our candidate. It will amount to an outright futility the wastage on campaign, if we should support or allow the foisting on the West a surrogate to others, or a candidate that is overtly mired in myriad of controversies, within and outside the state. That will never give us any headway into victory, whether the aspirant has the capacity to ‘jagaban’ all the Kogi West delegates with the ‘magical’ bullion vans. All our known PDP Leaders and stakeholders in the state are wary of the fact that – our own “emi-lokan” for the governor is ripely ordained by God, except if we misuse dis opportunity of resolutely agreeing to put forward our best bet on a candidate, who can afford us the victory with ease.
And that is where the unblemished, ameliorating candidature of Arch YOMI SUNDAY BOLORUNDURO AWONIYI, would reverberate beyond the Kogi West shore and fly high.
