Kogi Governance, Gov. Bello has made positive landmarks, history – Hon. Kingsley Fanwo


 

Says Gov Bello has managed Kogi economy, resources with transparency, prudence and accountability.

The Kogi State Commissioner For Information and Communication, Hon. Kingsley Fanwo says Gov. Yahaya Bello has made history as the first Governor to build a Flyover bridge.

Hon. Fanwo made the disclosure taking a team of Journalists round projects constructed by the Gov. Yahaya Bello’s administration. The project inspection is at the instance of the Kogi State NUJ as part of activities to mark the seven years administration of Gov Yahaya Bello.

The Commissioner disclosed further that the Ganaja junction Flyover bridge was constructed at less than N5bn as against the N20bn proposed for the project by the PDP administration, described the administration of Gov Bello as one that has managed the economy and resources of the State with transparency, prudence and accountability.

The world class flyover bridge the Commissioner explained has solved the twin problem of traffic gridlocks, accident and other hazard associated with the Ganaja junction and has improved on the aesthetic beauty of the State capital.

While pointing out that the Ganaja flyover bridge has brought a new look to Lokoja, the State Capital, Hon. Fanwo described the project as one amongst the massive projects of the present administration, described Gov. Bello as one who has made positive landmarks and history in the governance of the State .

The Commissioner had earlier taking the team round the GYB Model Science Secondary School, Adankolo as well as the Muhammadu Buhari Civic Centre, said Gov. Bello’s administration is mindful of leaving lasting legacies, assured that the people would continue to remain the fulcrum of the administration.
