The Sheraton hotel and towers was besieged by family, friends, colleagues and political associates as Kogi state Commissioner of Finance, Budget and Economic planning, Mukadam Asiwaju Asiru Idris, FCA was confered with Igbere TV leadership excellence award 2020 as the FINANCIAL EXPERT OF THE YEAR.
Asiwaju, In his short remarks after the award was presented to him, said he’s most humbled and excited to be a recipient of these noble award, much more, coming out top as winner amongst men of great capacity and drive.
This can only be an award to do more in service to humanity and also increasing impact in the financial field and public office as a professional accountant.
He dedicated the award to the industrious and resilient people of kogi state for their support and cooperation towards reshaping the fiscal outlook and Economic trajectory of the state.
He also expressed deep appreciation to his leader, Boss and brother; Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello for giving him the lofty opportunity to serve and contribute to societal growth.
He promised never to reneged in providing productive and innovative leadership wherever he finds himself.
