Prince Yahaya Audu, Frontline All Progressives Congress Aspirant has assured of a pride of place for the traditional institutions if elected.
Prince Yahaya made the pledge when he paid visit His Royal Majesty Matthew Alaji Opaluwa Oguche Akpa, the Attah Igala, to seek his Royal Majesty’s blessings ahead the forthcoming APC primaries.
If elected the APC Frontline Aspirant promised to commit himself through legislation in ensuring that the traditional institutions get a defined role, described traditional rulers as custodian of the people’s culture and tradition.
Prince Yahaya added that the place of the traditional institutions in the scheme of things and as the closest to the grassroots which cannot be compromised, is reason why he came to seek his Royal Majesty’s blessings, said his aspiration is borne out of the need to change the narratives in representation.
Prince Yahaya urged the people to look in his direction pointing out that having paid his dues in service to humanity and for the people of Kogi East, solicited the Royal Majesty’s blessings.
Prince Yahaya thanked those who contributed to purchasing the APC Senate nomination form for him, promised to justify the confidence, disclosed that he is very much prepared to be the people’s representatives as a servant of the people.
He reiterated his promise to donate his salaries for the development of the Youths of Kogi East, stressed that the time to empower the youths by making them self reliant cannot be over stressed.
Prince Yahaya appealed to the delegates to the APC Congress to vote for capacity, competence and the need to change the narratives to inform their decision in voting for him.
The aspirant says his issues base campaign is about improving the quality of lives of the people of Kogi East, sought the prayers of his Royal Majesty to enable him succeed in his aspiration.
