A group known as PDP Integrity group has called out the ignorance of Comrade Austin Okai in the wake of a statement making the rounds credited to him.
The statement which read in parts “The Kogi State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is set to hold a state congress to elect new executive members, as announced in a statement by Comrade Usman Okai Austin, the head of media for the state congress”
The PDP Integrity finds this above statement not only disturbing and misleading, but also, a troubling sign that the comrade is fast losing his minds as a result of his relentless pursuit of who pays for his conscience.
The PDP Integrity group wishes to draw the attention of party faithfuls, stakeholders and the general public that the position of “Head Media, congress” is alien to the letters and spirit of the PDP constitution which serves a guiding purpose for all party members.
It is instructive to note that the said comrade Okai who has lost credibility for always siding with mischief makers, has never at anytime held even the piston of a ward PRO, let alone, Spokesman for the CTC committee.
PDP Integrity group invites the general public to note that only the Party spokesman which is a position occupied currently by a member of the CTC have such powers to intimate the public of the official communications of the PDP in Kogi state.
We, however, urge the general public to ignore the charade of Austin Okai who is displaying desperation to get to the PDP after pursuing an ethnic agenda by supporting the candidate of the SDP in the last Kogi state election.
