JUBILATION IN KOGI COMMAND, AS NINETY EIGHT INSPECTORS WERE DECORATED TO THE RANK OF AN ASSISTANT SUPERINTENDENT OF POLICE
*..as CP charged them on Professionalism, Human Right in discharging their duties*
There was jubilation today Thursday 29th August, 2024 at the Kogi State Police Command Headquarters as ninety-eight Inspectors were decorated to the rank of an Assistant Superintendent of Police.
The Commissioner of Police, Kogi State Police Command, CP Bethrand C. Onuoha, psc (+), while congratulating the Officers on their newly acquired ranks, charged them to be more professional in the discharge of their duties and to always uphold human right of citizens. He further added that Officers should see their promotion as a reward for hard work and also a call to do more. He admonished them to be dedicated and committed noting that, promotion is an additional responsibility.
The CP made the call while decorating the Officers with their new ranks in company of the Command Management Team and the amiable Rector, of Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, Prof. Salisu Usman Ogbo who was at the event in honour of one of the promotees.
The Rector, Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, Prof. Salisu Usman Ogbo congratulated the Officers on their elevation and urged them to be more committed, civil and above all professional in discharging their duties. He assured the Command of his continue support and collaboration in ensuring adequate security of lives and property in Kogi State.
Speaking on behalf of the newly promoted Officers, ASP John Jatto Abadem, appreciates the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, PhD, NPM and the Chairman, Police Service Commission, Hashimu Salisu Argungu, (DIG Rtd), mni, psc, NPM for finding them worthy of this elevation. He promised that, they will not let the Nigeria Police down nor disappoint the nation, but will be ever committed in discharging their duties with utmost professionalism.
