Kogi Assembly Deputy Minority, Hon. Daku Promises Sustained Development


The Deputy Minority leader of the Kogi State House of Assembly Mr Sunday Daku says he will continue to build on the legacies of his predicessor to attract development in the state.

 

Mr Sunday Daku Stated this shortly after his swearing in ceremony and reception organised in his honour in Lokoja

Sunday Daku said he is a child of necessity noting that he is determined to mend fences among people of the constituency as one body.

The member Representing Bassa constituency reiterated his determination to lobby goverment at all levels for the development of the area.

According to him he will maintain cordial relationship with the executive, expressed gratitude to the former member Representing the constituency My Sunday Shigaba, electorates in the area for ensuring his Victory at the poll and expressed confidence that he will not disappoint them.

In his speech A stake holder of the people’s democratic party in the state Mr Sunday Shigaba congratulated the Deputy minority leader Sunday Daku for his victory at the polls and appealed to the people of the constituency to cooperate with him to succeed.

In their separate speeches the Aguma of Awawa Chief, Idris Sam, Former Chairman of Bassa Local Government Area Alhaji Musa Yakubu and a women leader Mrs Alex Dogwo prayed God to Grant the member wisdom to succeed and called on him to carry every part of the local government Area along.
